Older children tend to take less time than younger children just for the simple fact that they can follow directions. letting photographer know childs interest is important for photographer to break the ice and make child feel more comfortable.

solid colors tend to look better on siblings and family shots. coordinating all the colors can really help a photo rather than her having flowers on her shirt and him having plaid and little one having trucks or overalls. that gets very distracting.
