Maternity portraits are very intimate shots intended to show the true miracle of the joy of creating a new life. I feel solid colors capture this the best. White and black button downs make for the best shots. Also tank tops, or even a wild pattern for a shot or two. brining a pair of babies first shoes, outfit, dolly, even an ultrasound print out is a great way to personalize your maternity session. I love to capture mom AND dad if possible but like to get shots of just mom too and don't forget your wedding rings. Since there is such a wide variety of maternity styles (from not lifting shirt all the way to tasteful nude) PLEASE bring a list of what you want.
